We imaged 82 N from lambda +112 to +161.3 (including ramps), from lambda -177 to -158 (including ramps) and from lambda -160.5 to -143.9 (including ramps). We imaged 1188 S from mu +0.5 to +26 (including ramps). At least we think we did - there was no pointing info available. Skippy wouldn't work on 1188 S. ltMatch didn't run on anything. There were multiple tcc timeouts on scanStripe commands tonight. Landru froze up twice tonight. The teamsters died twice tonight. We had to force fill the spectrographs twice near the end of the night. The last force fill was at around 11:30Z (05:30 local). The spectro auto fill system is connected and in the "auto" position. Run 6362 did not appear in the imaging summary section. We constructed an entry from recorded information. Again tonight, the flat for cart 3, plate 2441 showed only 254 good fibers for b1 (see frame 40673). We lost several hours of science time to the above problems, most of it due to the spectro fills. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon Checkout: ------------------- It is clear, almost photometric, T=11.6C, wind up to 19 mph, humidity 31. All systems are checked and they work fine. Spectro focus has been checked and good for T=10C. Cartridge 3 plate 2441 has been used for spectro checkout and flat (frame 40673) has low value of NGOODFIBER=240. Night: ------ The lava lamp needs a new light bulb. We did an on-telescope imager bias in the darkened enclosure. We opened around 01:50Z to a photometric and moonless sky. We started with SEGUE imaging because conditions appeared to permit it. For the first run (6358), Shannon got a tcc timeout after issuing the scanStripe command. Then, the focus loop did not respond before the desired mu starting point. So, we ended the drift and started again. For the second run (6359), the focus loop responded promptly but now we had clouds and the seeing was around 2". We waited for a few frames and then switched to supernova imaging. The lost time was billed to "other weather problem". 02:55Z Run 6360, 82 N, start lambda +112. Everything good from the beginning. This run ended at frame 335, lambda 161.3 because conditions became photometric. Rick Kessler wanted to know if there is a current seeing plot he can look at in real time. We couldn't find one. Is there one? Landru locked up on Shannon around 04:15Z. He rebooted it and started over again. No time was lost. 06:27Z Run 6361, 1188 S, start mu +0.5. Seeing and focus good from the beginning. Skippy won't work on this run. See the Problems section for details. We decided to proceed anyway. Hope the pointing is good. We ended this run at 08:11Z, frame 180, mu +26 due to moonrise. 08:13Z Run 6362, 82 N, start lambda -177. Everything good from the beginning. This run ended at 09:30Z, frame 133, lambda -158 because we had to do a spectro fill. For whatever reason, the fill at 23:45Z didn't even last 10 hours. We billed the lost time to "other hardware problem". For whatever reason, run 6362 did not appear in the Imaging Summary section. We constructed an approximate entry from information we had recorded. Shannon had more problems with the tcc timing out on the scanStripe command. 09:55Z Run 6363, 82 N, start lambda -160.5. Everything good from the beginning. This run ended at 11:01Z, frame 117, lambda -143.9 because we had to do another spectro fill. This ended the night. The lost time was billed to "other hardware problem". Landru locked up on Shannon again around 10:53Z. Around the same time we got another ln2 empty error. We cleared it, it came back and then became a critical error. So, we stopped run 6363, put the telescope away and filled the spectro dewars again. After the autofill, we manually filled the dewars and watched until the liquid ran out. This manual fill occurred about 11:30Z. There was no ltMatch output in the ltMatch section of the log tonight. Why?
