When we went to check our ability to talk to the engcam, there was a fiber error on the Paralan in the control room. The problem was in the Paralan itself. We could make the error light go on and off by wiggling the fiber connector at the Paralan. We put the other spare in and all was well. Jon took the faulty Paralan and resoldered some conections. We will test it tomorrow. mcp_fiducials version v1_78 was installed for tonight's pointing model. No spectro focus check was done because the engcam was mounted. Dan homed and relaxed M1 and M2 this afternoon, but we took the time to do it again so we could see the size of the homing errors. We will monitor mirror numbers over the next few days, then set new nominal mirror numbers. No other problems during checkout.
