Kaike ran it. - Boss biases and darks were out of spec. Kyle notified. - MCP & Sop had interaction problem, we think. We could not "sop gotoFiled" as 'sop w text=\042Failed to close the flat field screen\042'. "sop restart" fixed the problem. - Sos "collimate" procedure reported error: SDSSPROC_BADFORMAT: Warning: Serial transient not detected in 2 rows - the version of platedbActor looks as not checked even it is current. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- 22:13Z - MARVELS camera channel 10 periodically goes slightly out of spec on the cold side. 22:33Z - ThAr lamp on. 22:41Z - guider dark, flat, BOSS dark taken MarvelsMap had to be run on cartridge 8 today. It appears not to have been run after plugging. No BOSS focus check made due to lack of time. 23:35Z - Ventilation started 23:35Z - Cartridge 16 mounted. 00:16Z - Enclosure opened. Night: ----- Cart 16, plate 3590 - Boss We tried to apply gotoFiled, but got some error about 'sop w text="Failed to close the flat field screen"'. "sop restart" was valuble for the treatment of this decease. sop gotoFiled, found stars 00:50 hartmann ff=105907,08 Adjustments D(sp1)244, D(sp2)=7703, T=-1.8C outside 01:22 calibs, ff=105909,10 01:30 science 900 sec, ff=105901 Sos produced error message after flat reduction "emission lines in flat". We guessed that possible forgot to off arc lamps after hartmann. Repeat calibration. 01:48 calibration, ff=105902,03 We checked log but found that there was everything ok with FFs and lamps during this and last calibration. Visual data review did not show any special difference in flat. We noted that darks (ff-=105903,06) and biases (ff=105904,05) were out of spec. We called to Kyle and he will check this on next day. 01:55 science 900 sec, ff=105914, 15,16 02:46 calibs, dd=105917,18 This plate was DONE Cart 11, plate 3609, - Boss 02:59, gotoField, found stars there was another problem with gotoFiled which we thick related with mis-communications between sop and mcp.
