Table 1. NOAH soil parameters
Some of them are shown in Table 2 in Chen and Dudhia 2001. The following is the description of each parameter.
- BB:SOIL TYPE "B" PARAMETER| used to calculate thermal conductivity of soil (eq. 3 in Chen and Dudhia 2001) and several other quantities
- DRYSMC: dry soil moisture threshold where direct evap from top soil layer ends (m3/m3)
- F11: Soil thermal diffusivity/conductivity coef.
- MAXSMC: Maximum soil moisture (=porosity| m3/m3)
- REFSMC: Field capacity (equilibrium soil moisture) (m3/m3)
- SATPSI: Saturation soil suction (m)
- SATDK : Saturation soil heat conductivity (W/m/K)
- SATDW : Saturation soil water diffusivity (m/s)
