To get a NERSC account for CMB data analysis, you should go to http://crd.lbl.gov/cmb and following the sign-up link. Under “Principal Investigator / Project” field, search for Borrill / mp107.
Also send email to Julian, Reijo, or Ted to be added to the correct UNIX filegroups according to the projects you work on.
To change your password or your default UNIX shell, you must use the “NERSC Information Management” (NIM) web interface. To change your shell, click on the “logins by host” tab and scroll to the bottom.
If you have too many failed ssh password attempts you will be locked out of the systems and will have to login successfully to NIM in order to clear that lock.
