1) Collate files: bosstile-final-collated-boss2-boss38-galimaging.fits.gz bosstile-final-collated-boss2-boss38.fits.gz These files contain all the BOSS targets of interest. These files were updated after catalog production; 1812 objects have ICHUNK = 6 in the new (released) version but were listed as ICHUNK = 5 in the version used to produce the catalogs. This change does not affect any downstream quantities, so catalogs produced with the new version should be identical except for the ICHUNK field. 2) spAll file containing "known" redshifts from SDSS-I/SDSS-II. Objects in this file were not retargeted by SDSS-III BOSS spectroscopy. The only difference between the "dr10dr11" edition of this file is the addition of the FIBERID field in DR12. 3) SDSS-III BOSS DR12 spAll file. Use getinputfiles.sh to download it. 4) SDSS-III BOSS DR12 platelist file. Use getinputfiles.sh to download it. This is used to determine regions of the survey were good spectroscopic observations were made, and thus to be included in the final LSS mask. 5) Systematics parameter files. nstlinfits_CMASS_DR12v5128.dat seefits_[CMASS/LOWZE3]_DR12v5_[North/South].dat These files contain the best fit systematic parameters and can be used by mksample to fill in the systematics weights in the catalogs. 6) Systematics maps. allstars17.519.9Healpixall128.dat This healpix map is used to determine the local star density at any location, and then determine parameters for the W_STAR weight.
