No major problems. We find ourselves looking forward to the next phoneCon. The Pen~asco fire is now ~50% contained -still threatening, but less so than yesterday. Another day of calm winds would suit us just fine. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Lots of clouds; we started with spectroscopy: cart 9; plate 903. We had to wait through the clouds and sneak in exposures whenever a sucker hole passed our way. Clouds cleared up part way around 05:30Z, so we switched to cartridge 7, plate 951 and tried again. No stars were found on the gotoField. We finished this plate in 3 exposures totalling 55minutes. Next up: cart 2 plate 957 on which was saw a few (maybe 3) guide stars on the gotoField. We finshed this plate in three exposures totalling 35 minutes. Next up: cart 4 plate 917 for which we found 5 guide stars on the gotoField (with the old offsets). Conditions worsened during this plate so we didn't quite finish it even in 4 exposures totalling 60 minutes. We took a smear, but in bad conditions. Next up: cart 1 plate 796 where we again found 5 gude stars on the gotoField with the old offsets.
