We observed two plates, one of them, plate 2696 deklared as done. For the other was obtained acceptable S/N. By the reason fatal errors, John rebooted astro and photo crates (see in to log section) Shakedown: Afternoon had been created new fiducial tables. Steph. reloaded new fiducial tables. After Moon rise we made new pointing models. But it was many bad points, i.e. at the end of observations come huge clouds. If Landru hadn't froze (see log) we would have had a chance to finish the second plate and the pointing model. We will repeat pointing model at another time. We had obtained spectro darks and bias frames. We tested sdssProcedures v2_25 and IOP v4_31 and they can be declare as done. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- dssfile1 hung and did not ftp data from host2. Jon first reboot it, but we still have watcher archive errors for all nodes as: dsc E archWrFail Fatal error or retries exhausted. File idRR-006737-i3-0002.fit not archived! Then Jon reboot photo and astro crates. It fixed the problem. So Jon suspects that whenever we reboot sdssfile1, we may need to reboot photo and astro crates since rebooting sdssfile1 may cause the connections between photo/astro and sdssfile1 lost. New fiducial tables are created. Spectro focus adjusted and set for about 4 C.
