APACHE POINT OBSERVATORY SDSS 2.5M OBSERVING LOG Saturday March 17, 2007 (MJD 54177) ---=== OBSERVING TEAM ===--- Swing: Kaike Pan Night: Shannon Watters Viktor Malanushenko ---=== OBSERVING PLAN ===--- Science! ---=== OBSERVING SUMMARY ===--- Clear at the evening, mostly cloudy whole night. We run 3 plates. One of them declared as done. For the second one had been obtained acceptable S/N. About plate #2557: we run three exposure. Accumulated S/N: 24.3 2.6 --- 8.9. But we can't obtain acceptable S/N=>2 for the "b2" even in nice weather conditions. By that we asked Briann Yanny: is it need continuing that plates or not? Problems: At 06:15Z one of the FF bulb (Flatfield lamp 1) had burned out. We have lost 40 min on its replacement. The fused lamp lays on the table in to Control Room. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Afternoon checked went smoothly.
