The rest of night was lost to rain, high humidity. We have problem in finding guiding stars for pointing A of plate 3016 (see log), please check. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- ntp_check okay. System checked out and working fine. The spectro focus adjusted to +7 C. Night: -------- 01:25Z ready for observation, but Marvels teams want to wait untill the field (plate 3016) gets higher. Then we check plate 3056 for dropping off and broken fibers, identified two dropped off and plugged back two fibers, but didnot find the suspected broken fiber. 02:15Z cart 4, plate 3016A. Finding FK5 star in Fiber #10, but no stars found after goback to the field A. To check if it is just a coincidence of finding FK5 in fiber #10, I using fiber #9, and did find the FK5. So we concluded that some problem in MapM file of pointing A of the plate. Then I switch to pointing B, and found stars right way. 02:35Z Cart 4, plate 3016B. 02:45Z precalib. 02:50Z started science exposures of the plate. 10 12 sec exposures, frames 55458-55467. 03:27 humidity warning, 82%, difference at 2.9 C. Finished this plate. Sorry I declared the precalib frames (55456 and 55457) as test by mistake.
