The humidity jumped after that and the clouds moved to us. We restarted our software and checked all telescope systems. Had problem with STUI but Craig helped us. We had problem with Marvels but it began to work by the end of night. Everything was working properly. We were on generator until ~6:40 and on utility power supply after that. But generator was running by the end of night and did not stop as we expected. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Generator has been running stable for today. At 4:30 PM, Mark, Fritz, Jon decided to turn all computer back on. But we still did not have utility power as 5:30 PM. We talked to French, DanL, we will not open tonight if we don't have utility power back given problems we experienced last night, and some other potential problems, weather, bright time etc factors. French and Dan also kindly showed Kaike and Viktor how to started SDSS telescope generator, and use it to close if we are open, and lose utility power and APO generator power. Kaike called Nathan, and updated him on status at APO. Nathan agreed that if you do have chance to open, we observer plates that are currently plugged (Not all plates in tonight's schedule are plugged). After hub25m was started, STUI software did not started, so we cannot connected to STUI. Craig was called, and he is working on this. After we started MARVELS software, we checked all temperatures and pressure, they are seems okay. We could not open with such weather condition. 01:00K Jon and Fritz were working on site to restore site network and they were sucessuful. We still have APO telephone network not running. We restarted all our programs. We could not restart STUI ourself and Craig made it. I started actors and ICCs. We needed to reset DAQ on sp1 and sp2 to make boss running. Craig restarted bossICC, platedb, alerts. As r1 camera was disconnected, we got critical alert. I disabled the alert: "Critical boss.SP1R0CCDTemp Reported by camCheck" Finally, STUI and all actors were running and connected. We mounted cart 14 plate 3675. It was stored in eclosure. We wanted to check the status of STUI. We made calibration exposures. 04:47Z bias ff=104297 04:49Z dark ff=98 04:51Z flat, arc ff=99-100 04:58Z sop hartmann ff=01,02 collimate showed that spectro were in foc. 06:40Z Power switched from generator to utility. We noted as the generator was running after we switched to utilities for the rest of night. 08:10Z we tried Marvels software to do calibration, test, reconnect, during the night several times. We got error messages Configure>WARN: No replay from DAS (timeout). Failed ACQ->CONFIG-AUTO-MECH. This time we were successful to get a trio of calibration files. Did somebody helped us? Frank? Data files looked good. T08:03:01.900 calibration trio. It is still cloudy and high humidity. 10:45Z.
