APACHE POINT OBSERVATORY SDSS 2.5M OBSERVING LOG Saturday March 24, 2007 (MJD 54184) ---=== OBSERVING TEAM ===--- Team: Howard Brewington Audrey Simmons ---=== OBSERVING PLAN ===--- Science! ---=== OBSERVING SUMMARY ===--- Clouds and bad seeing most of the night. Took two good exposures on cartridge 4 (plate 2714), and completely finished cartridges 7 (plate 2655), 3 (plate 2607), and 9 (plate 2143). ShakeDown tasks completed: 1) Imager bias/flats. DONE the night before shakeDown during bad weather. 2) Power down the DIMM. DONE the night of shakeDown. 3) We did not complete Kurt's AstroDa shake item because we were able to do science. We did however, check and confirm that the new txt documents were available, i.e., http://sdsshost2.apo.nmsu.edu/doc/astroda/VigraTo2302SwapInstructions.txt http://sdsshost2.apo.nmsu.edu/doc/astroda/sdssII/SDSS_II_DA_PTVME_Replacement.pdf And, we checked this PR, 7123, and it had already been closed. 4) Steph's IOP shake item was not done because we were able to do scince. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Night: ------ 02:20Z Cartridge 4, segue bright plate 2714 mounted.
