The arc collimation reductions for plate 2815 were hung up, but SOS started behaving again before we did spectroscopyon on plate 2729 at the end of the night. When we started up the DIMM software at the beginning of the night, this error message came up: software exceeded ExcessRunError. We restarted the software and everything behaved until we saw that the two images of polaris showed a vertical orientation instead of the normal horizontal one. Viktor was able to fix the image by adjusting the CCD mount slightly. We will investigate more tomorrow what exactly happened to the CCD orientation. However, DIMM was very slow the first part of the night until the software froze up completely and had to be rebooted.
