Clouds and bad seeing didn't let us finish them. We completed QE calibration for imager's "i 4" chip. We collected ~25000 dust counts when were open, and ~100K from the midnight to the end of the night in total (open and closed together). Please check the mirror for dust. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The dust count was 10K to 15 K during afternoon check out. All systems were checked, and working properly. The spectro focus was checked, but no adjustment made. It was set for about 11 C. Due to high wind speed (at 40 mph) and high dust count, no ventilation in the evening. Night: ------ At sunset we still did not open the enclosure, terrible dust count , some 12000. We set up the imager for calibrations. Run 7471 fr. 1 - bias 02:32Z QE run for "i 4", frames 2 - 50 Dust count felt from 12000 to ~5000 and wind is getting closer to normal. We decided to open. -- 05:25Z Opened dome; cartridge 5 mounted, plate 2930. segueFaint -- 05:39Z GSOGTF. Focus loop. 05:53Z precal 06:00Z - science started 1500 - ABORTED Suddenly, "sos" claims that the arc is bad. We move pistons , both -3000 06:15Z precal, again bad, both flat and arc Both pistons moved +5000 06:28Z precal.
