We observed two segue plates 3137 and 3131 and need to continue their observations tomorrow. We observed flat-field cross_scan and stripe 81,N for lambda from (-165) to (-137.5). We had a problem to start goDrift for cross_scan. Spectro dewar needs to be replaced before next fill around 9-10 am. Jon's weather page and cloud cam stopped to work around 11:30Z. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- The telescope is checked and all systems work properly. Total exposure time ~2 hours and supplementary time (mounting, pointing, calibrations) ~1 hour. We obtained (s/n)^2 16.2. We have preliminary suggestion to observe the segue plates until (s/n)^2 =50. It is almost photometric, but seeing is ~2". 05:48 preCalibs 05:56 science 1500 06:24 science 1500 06:47 postCalibs. Obtained (s/n)^2 8.3. Not done yet. Mounted imager to do the flat-field cross-scan. Run 7673 - bias, 39 frames We tried to run track command and "goDrift" for scan 100,O but got error "can't read strip: no such variable". We tried to open another iop session and reboot tcc, but the help was to run "scanStripe 82 N xxx" first and goDrift after that. Run 7674. After that scan started we applied the track command to move telescope to right scan. Focus is good from the frame 32 at 8:10 Z. It is possible the problem was with mistyping of track command. The stripe is finished at frame 140 at 9:15Z. Moved the telescope to stow and filled the spectro dewar. 09:35. Run 7675. Stripe 81,N. Start lambda -165. We did not include the ramp. Skippy and Focus are good from the beginning. End of science frame 172. End of ramp frame 189 lambda=-137.5 Cart 9 plate 3138 is mounted for tomorrow. 11:45Z Enclosure is on.
