We are driving with Landru using the new Xserver -Jurek is trying to write a night log with Erick's logTool (and have some problems with it PR will be sent). Clouds at the beginnig of the night + moon. Started with spectroscopy, cartridge 2 634 mounted first. 19:40 clouds are building up, wating with enclosure on dors open. 19:55 the weather thretens us too much so we closed the telescope :(. Note that Cartridge 2 plate 634 had wrong INST id 3 in the TPM display, a proper PR has been filed. 2:30 Opened again, put cart 6 plate 656 but we couldn't find any star wtih fk5 or doing spiralPattern, so we decided change cart 6 with cart 7 plate 662. While spiraling we've got Relay Server error. After we put cart 7 on the telescope we noticed that Azimuth correction aplied are too large. So, we refiducilized the telescope in azimuth and than we found fk5 star with no problem (however it showed up whit 10" north offset -that might explain why we didn't find the star in cart 6). 5:55 The telescope stopped tracking during smearing for the observed plate. It looks like a similar problem to the past few nights see problem setion for details. We also noticed that the signal to noise ratio in SOS window for the third exposure is very low, while on the guider we saw stars most of the time and the efficiency was also high (over 55%). What we noticed is the message below the S/N window at SOS: QUICKEXTRACT: sdR-r2-00010717.fit: WARNING: Large flexure flat<->science (Post-calibs recommended!) Could it be connected with our low S/N ratio for the third exposure? After smear ended we issued axis init command and decided to take another exposure. After that 5:17 we did another smering (note that twiglight starts at 5:08 today). We finished with suggested postcalib and we've got enough S/N for this plate after all to declare it done.
