Spent some time for wind down. But stillfinished two plates (2622 and 2583) and obtained some signal on bao-test plate 2638. We obtained very low signal to noice ratio on Bao plate 2638, but already obtained 20.2 in red cameras. We ask David to check the quality and give us feedback. ----------------- We had Christmas Dinner with Steph, Rasset and family, Shannon, Jack and family, and corrent observers. Only noted that the 45 and 60 degree altitude fiducials only read out while moving downward. The spectroCollimation has been checked and was good for expected -4.7 C. No adjustment has been made. The sky level were high because of nearby Moon and parameters of sky level were typed with yellow in SOS window. This is a test plate and we did not declare exposures with s/n ratio less then 2.0 as a bad. Total s/n for r1,r2 cameras is 20.2 for all nights. Wind is down below 35 mph. 07:50Z Started ventillation. 08:20Z opened enclosure Cart 5, plate 2583, chunk, 7:31-12:27, each camera s/n >15 Previous s/n 7.4 for 2 exposures with total 2400sec time. Find Stars on GoToF 08:42Z Precalibration 08:50Z After calibration was done we did not find the stars and noted abort of rotator. Issued axis init and gotoField, and started exposure. 08:52Z Science, 1200 Seeing 2-3", efficiency 50-60%, 09:14Z Science, 1200 09:37Z Science, 1500 Total exposure time 3900sec, f=42168, s/n=8.5 Based on combined two days obf observations, the plate is DONE and is going to be replaced with Cart 6, plate 2674, seguefaint. Find stars on GTF. 10:17 Precalibration Noted the inctreasing of wind and decided to close the telescope. Wait until 12:00 and shutted down the observations at point of no return with wind 43.9 mph.
