We did not opened. We could not do dithered flats (cloudy night task) because of the motors did not move properly (too cold ?). Howard filled the spectro dewar manually. Watcher complained about voltage:vs+:CCD55. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The 90 degree alt fiducial did not read in either direction. The 45 degree alt fiducial did not read going up. Spectro collimation was not adjusted. Details are in the Problems section. The monitor for the outdoor camera that watches the telescope was replaced with the assistance of Jon Brinkmann and Mark Klaene. The watcher warned of vs+ voltage errors on ccd 55 again sometime between 21:30Z and 22:30Z. Night: ----- We have been ready to open, it was reasonble clear, but some clouds nearby was very heavy and strong. We deside to wait. These clouds came to us soon and humidity go up to limit. We stopped ventillation and wait for weather improving. At 02:00Z the weather condition were: Humidity 100%, difference 0.1, temperature -6.9C, wind up to 24 mph, dust 2800 counts. Howard tried to do dithered flats: "I tried to do the cloudy night task of specFlats 15. However, the process caused motor errors, which (I'm guessing) are related to the -6.3 temperature. See the problems section for the motor numbers and errors." (see problem section). We had problem with the Log. I have saved and released the log to Howard. Howard loades the Log and, assumed he had current version, added some note and released the log to me again. I have loaded the log but all my records had been lost. The log had Mikes afternoon stuff and Howard's note.
