Through clouds, we took four, 20 min exposures of segue plate 2694 (Cart 1) and plate 2559 (Cart 2), but did not get enough signal to finish any of them. There were too many clouds. Shakedown tasks completed: 1)We took spectro biases and darks. 2)Exercised spectrographs and guider. They work just fine. 3)Pointing model: We did not got a new pointing model. But we observed three cartridges tonight, and found guiding stars on goto field on all three. So we think we may do not need a new pointing model. 4)PR6084: With astroDa V15_13_1, TCC header keywords are confirmed to be written in sdR headers correctly in both frames moving and non-moving telescope during readout. Spectro and pt data taking work properly, but no imager data taking was tested. 5)PR7123: Checked and found okay. PR has been closed. 6)PR6888: Spectro and pt data taking work without error. No imager data taking tested. 7)sdssProcedure v2_26 checked and found good. Watcher messages (problems?): We had watcher TCC warning message about disconnected sensors and MCP messages about low imager and spectro dewer when they actually at 215 and 130 lb (see problem section). They did not came back after being cleared. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The telescope has been checked and prepared for obserations. All systems works fine. As part of ShakeDown we used test version of iop v4_32_0. During spectro checking using test version of iop we have an error to startMonitor (can't read "GuiderInfor(11,xc)": no such element in array) and Steph temporary fixed the problem. Night: ------ Cloudy at sunset and continued being cloudy for the rest of the night. 00:50Z Started ventilation with doors and louvers open, fans on. 01:35Z Opened enclosure. 02:33Z Cart 1, segue plate 2694 mounted. GSFOGTF. First 20 min exposure and precals taken. 02:56Z Started second 20 min exposure. 03:19Z Third 20 min exposure. Warning message appeared: Whopping fiber #367. Heavy clouds came in - efficency low. 03:42Z Fourth 20 min exposure. 04:06Z Took postcals. Did not finish plate. 04:19Z Cart 2, segue plate 2559. GSFOGTF. 04:22 PreCalib. But then clouds came in. We did not start exposure due to low efficiency. 04:45Z Started a 20 min exposure. Seeing at about 1.4". S/N was too low declared it bad. 05:09Z Second 20 min exposure. 05:33Z PostCalib. 05:50Z Started another 20 min exposure. See at 1.4". 06:13Z Started another 20 min exposure. 06:34Z Postcal. Did not finish plate. 06:49Z Cart 6, legacy plate 2595 mounted. 5 min test exposure taken to test if the PR 6084 is fixed or not. We moved the telescope during readout. The associated frame, 44024, has correct (not NaN value) for TCC information in the frame header. Determined that there were too many clouds. 07:15Z Closed enclosure. Left doors and louvers open with fans on. 07:32Z started a sequece of 25 spectro bias frames from 44025 -- 44049. The percentiles for frame 44039 are shown below.
