Had a neon lamp problem during the dithered flats; see log. The monitor for ad2 is not working. There's a fat mouse living in the kitchen under the dish washer. Completed several shake tasks. Changed the spectro dewar ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Swing: ------------ Could not get mirror numbers because of a problem with the M2 galil , so they were rebooted. Next, M2 was homed. M1 was also homed and relaxed while the scope was at 70-degrees, so the nominalMigValues could be saved to the log. The spectro focus was checked but not adjusted; it's set for about 12-degrees C. Collimate's output and apo_plotbias is posted in the log. A new rot fiducial table was built, and all three (alt, az, and rot) tables were installed. Steph re-installed the updated PID values after the MCP was rebooted. Noticed while mounting the imager that the inst_change hand paddle now reports a much higher force (1700+ pounds) as compared to pre-shutdown numbers of about 1600. Also noticed that this force bleeds off much faster as compared to pre-shutdown conditions. In fact, I (Howard) needed to continue adding force while mounting the imager. And after mounting the imager, only one of the safety-switch lights was on.
