There was problem with plateDB web. It does not show accumulated signal during observations; it does not remove observed plates from planning list when we marked them as DONE manually; terminolodgy of web page is not recognized by SDSS observers, not clear and no help. What do you think this status might mean "override complete" (?????) We were looking for to change status from "active" to "done":-(( We found out that there were three plates plugged which have been observed recently. To avoid this, we created the list of availble plates marked observed plates. The list is in control room and on wiki. So we had three new plates and one plate in progress. Ct 10 plate 4202 - done Ct 11 plate 4068 - done Ct 16 plate 3615 - done Ct 17 plate 4182 - in progress. There was some boss "phaseBoot" at the beginning of the night and boss hartmann exposure was frozen at the stage of readout. The restarting of bossICC with Craig's help, we made things working again. Some of xsigma and wsigma were out of spec when spectro was in focus. So, the collimation moved us out of focus? Ticket #1014. Visual evaluation did not show anything really wrong with calibration files. Dimm did not transfer data to weather web page. Network? Spectro dewars need to be changed. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon --------- STUI actors and software were working properly. Telescope checked, all systems worked properly. 00:20Z started ventilation but the doors were still closed for boss calibration We checked our plates and found out that four of them were done before. We checked plates which we marked as done last night and found them availble for the next night selection. We still had 3 new plates for that night and one with partial signal. We try to observe new plates. The ticket was submitted. As a temporary solution we printed the list of availble plates and marked observed plates as done there. The list is in control room. Night ---------- 01:30Z enclosure is off. Cart 11/4068. This plate had previous signal. GotoFiled with hartmann failed because of PhaseBoot critical alert. Tried two times, restarted Boss using stageManager. Craig helped us to set again. FSonGTF Science f=118963, 66. We found out that r1 flat xsigma were out of spec. We completed science exposure and made another flat. The result of reduction were the same. We made one more collimation and confirmed that we were in foc. This plate is Done. In one hour after we opened and filled the dewars, we got ln2 serious error: "Serious boss.SP2LN2Fill Reported by camCheck" Applied "startfill seq" and error gone. Anyway, this plate is "DONE".
