Night: ------ Lots of clouds at sunset. cart 3 plate 1678 =================== With clouds and twilight, we went to fk5 which we found with 30s exposure. Then, the clouds were too thick to even see FK5 in 60s exposure.... 07:00Z Since there does not seem to be any sign of whole in the clouds, we decided to put the enclosure on. 08:27Z Watcher told us that the spectro server was not responding. Checking on monx3, there was no spectro server. So we restarted it. 09:30Z We give up. Closed the enclosure dorrs, fans and run endNight. endNight completed successfully. We did not get a chance to start DIMM tonight since we were never able to see Polaris. Thank you Steph for hanging around in case we needed her help. Jurek has constructed a better watering system for his plants in the office trailor. The design is based on the SDSS instrument dewar systems with multiple dewars attached holding many liters of water. Very impressive.
