Collimate process recommended moves of 4000 and 2000. The enclosure temp was 7C while outside was 5C. After consulting with Dan, we decided not to move the motors. If we open, we are close enough to focus. Telescope is ready to go. I think we might have to sacrifice a theorist to the weather god (who happens to be Dan's father). This was a tradition at McD when we had bad weather. Dan says his father likes music. Dixieland, bluegrass and banjos. So maybe we should hire a band to play to clear the weather. Observers singing to the weather god might have bad effect. Papa Dan is also a photographer and graphic artist. So maybe we can offer a new digital camera? Tonight was the annual site party/farewell to Pete/gourmet night. I didn't get to taste everything, and I know I left three or four items off the menu. Apologies to those whose dishes I missed.
