Focus in spec by frame 17. 02:04Z - Start of ramp - mu=68.5, frame 46 02:14Z - Start of science - mu=71, frame 63 04:09Z - End of science - mu=100, frame 256/257 04:17Z - End of ramp - mu=102, frame 270. The Cone nebula was in the last frame of the scan. 04:21Z - Run 6509 - SEGUE Stripe 1374 S 04:22Z - start mu=119. Focus and Skippy good from the beginning. 04:28Z - start ramp mu=120.5 frame 15 04:38Z - start science mu=123 frame 32 04:55Z - Moonrise at mu 127.3, frame 60. Sky background still low (10% higher in g and u) 05:02Z - Sky has risen about 20% in g and u 05:10Z - end of science - mu=131, frame 85/86, sky level higher by about 40% in g and u. 05:18Z - end of ramp - mu=133, frame 99, sky levels in u and g higher about 65% 05:20Z - Run 6710, bias on telescope. ----- 05:57Z - We switched to spectroscopy Cartridge 2, Legacy plate 2587 Needed an FK5 to find the field (the offset was the usual one - mostly N and a little W) 07:27Z - Finished the plate with a total exposure time of 4500s. 06:11Z The cloud camera was switched over temporarily to run on zaphod instead of hoggpt at the request of Jon Brinkmann. If you saw the cloudcam go offline on hoggpt for about an hour, that is why. 06:55Z - We switched the cloudcam back to hoggpt. 07:50Z - While waiting for the only other cartridge with reasonable zappas (moon-units) to become available, we did the spectro monthly darks. Results are after the problems section. 08:55Z - Back to spectro science on Cartridge 7, plate 1844 GSOGTF with offsets from previous plate. We had to wait a while for this plate to reach a high enough altitude before we could start taking data.
