Poor seeing for most of the night. We delayed from opening at sunset due to some engineering work with installing spectrograph eproms. At the beginning of the night, the guider GUI within STUI.4a3 stopped updating guider frames after a few minutes, so we switched to STUI.4a1. Later on, we tested the guider GUI in STUI.4a3 again, and this time it behaved properly. We also tried the newest version STUI.4a5. One BOSS exposure of 15 minutes took an extra 15 minutes before it read out. There were no error messages within the log window. The exposure time in the headers are correct and the images look ok. A BOSS arc exposure read out to the disk, but it was complaining that it could not read out at all. See log for error messages (03:39Z). We lost some science time during the transition from BOSS to MARVELS because the cartridge we needed was in the plug lab and not in the cartridge bay. We are not sure if these values are to be trusted, but we decided to move on and investigate it later. 01:51Z - Issued doCalibs command, but the spectrographs needed to be re-iacked. 02:00Z - We tested STUI.4a3 and the guider GUI updated with the guider frames. We switched back to this version. 02:06Z - Cals. 103092-93. 02:15Z - Began first BOSS exposure, 15 minutes, seeing ~1.7". 103094. Using 5 second guider images. 02:33Z - Changed guider exposure time to 15 seconds, seeing ~1.8". Began the next exposure. 103095. 02:50Z - BOSS exposure, seeing ~1.7". 103095. It took an additional 15 minutes after the exposure was completed for the exposure to finally readout and show up on the disk. 03:25Z - BOSS exposure. 103095. 03:39Z - Cals. 10396-97.
