Now have 373GB free on files1 and 97GB free on /data. During the process, we found that compressed files in /photo/fields can only be deleted by observer account. Chenked and found that endNight has already been run for all days during bright time for which there was any data taken. Thanks to whomever did this. Spectro monthly checkout was completed. new fiducial tables were created and save in host2:/home/observer/pan. but did not check in. PT pointing and focusing were checked and worked fine except for some "clunk" noise during closing the shuter. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- 00:50Z, fans on, 05:30Z Fans on, east door and louvers open. new fiducial tables are built and compared to the current version. It appears that the new tables are very similar with the current version (built in Nov. 2005), maybe slightly better. These tables are saved in host2: /home/observer/pan. Tomorrow Steph will decide if we need to check it in. Moved the collimator motors to their oringinal positions, and started it over. This time, it did finished with 17 exposures: 15 flats and 2 arcs (frames 36456 -- 36472), which are put in sdsshost2:/home/kpan/dithered. Biases were obtained (frames 36481 thru 36505). All 4 cameras from frame 34924 were displayed and visually inspected. No abnormalities were noticed. The histogram was plotted and it looked normal. The histogram and percentiles were printed out and filed in the spectro monthly checkout logbook.
