APACHE POINT OBSERVATORY SDSS 2.5M OBSERVING LOG Saturday March 10, 2007 (MJD 54170) ---=== OBSERVING TEAM ===--- Swing: Kaike Pan Night: Viktor Malanushenko Shannon Watters ---=== OBSERVING PLAN ===--- Science ---=== OBSERVING SUMMARY ===--- We had radar returns just to the north of us most of the night so we didn't open until late. We were able to acquire signal on 1 plate before we had computer problems (see log and problems). By the time we worked that out there were more radar returns nearby so we didn't open again. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Delete data for MJDs 54136 to 54140. replaced imager dewar. I would like to note that Landru completely froze up on us 3 nights ago. Using Top we found a process using the old iop (V4_30). We don't know if it is significant but we wanted to pass it along. We didn't kill it: 26044 observer 15 0 8016 8016 1436 S 0.2 0.3 28:42 0 /linuxp/prd/iop/v4_30_0/bin/iop.bin -noVME -useTk -command start_mcpMenu "+1+1" 0.5 1
