Afternoon: --------- We didn't make any adjustments to the spectrograph focus. No other problems during afternoon checkout. Night: ----- We waited for nearby radar returns to pass before opening. 02:41Z: Cartridge 1, plate 2694 - seguefaint Needed an FK5 to find the field. Clouds started affecting our efficiency after the first exposure, but we were able to finally finish this plate, when the signal is combined with that from previous nights. Declared done with a total exposure time of 3300s. 04:18Z - Cartridge 2. plate 2559 segue GSOGTF Clouds hampered efficiency somewhat. Useful signal was obtained, but the plate is not yet done. Note that we again saw a red monster warning for this particular plate. 06:43Z - Closed for clouds and nearby radar return. 09:10Z - Re-opened 09:21Z - Cartridge 5, plate 2560 - seguefaint No GSOGTF, FK5 with cleared offsets. Clouds started reforming during the first exposure. Took three useful exposures, but the plate is not done.
