Spectro collimation set for 12.5C (see problem section for info). 00:30Z - Started ventilation. Doors and louvers opened, fans on. Night: ------ 01:00Z - Enclosure off. 01:37Z - Cartridge 7, plate 2621, seuge154. Needed fk5 and spiral pattern to acquire the field. 02:21Z - Pre-Calib. 02:28Z - 15-minute expsoure. 02:46Z - 15-minute expsoure. 03:04Z - 15-minute exposure. 03:22Z - Post-Calib. 03:29Z - 15-minute exposure. 03:47Z - 15-minute exposure. 04:05Z - 15-minute exposure. 04:23Z - 15-minute exposure. 04:43Z - Post-Calib. Seeing: 1.5" - 1.7". 04:54Z - Cartridge 5, plate 2308, segue126. Needed an fk5 to acquire the field. 05:04Z - Pre-Calib. 05:11Z - 15-minute exposure. 05:29Z - 15-minute exposure. 05:47Z - 15-minute exposure. 06:05Z - 15-minute exposure. 06:23Z - Post-Calib. Seeing: 1.5" - 2.0". 06:25Z - The efficiency dropped to around 15% during the last exposure as the clouds grew thicker. We also started getting some nearer lightning readings, so we closed. 06:35Z - Enclosure on. Still ventilating, but doors only open a few feet. 10:15Z - The sky cleared momentarily and we decided to try and get what we can through the holes in the clouds. 10:28Z - Enclosure off. 10:37Z - Cartridge 2, plate 2805, segue166. Guide stars found on gotoField, although they kept coming and going as clouds passed over the field. 10:50Z - Pre-Calib. 10:58Z - 15-minute exposure. During the exposure, guide stars came and went as the clouds passed over the field. 11:08Z - We lost all guide stars for about 2 minutes. 11:16Z - 15-minute exposure. 11:34Z - Post-Calib. Seeing: 2.0" - 3.0". The efficiency jumped around quite a bit for this cartridge, dropping to the low teens and getting as high as ~84%. 11:41Z - Enclosure on, doors and louvers closed, fans off. endNight rejoiced. ---=== IMAGING RUN SUMMARY ===--- Run Time Stripe Lambda Last Flavor Comments Start End Begin End Frame ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== IMAGING RUN DETAILS ===--- ---=== SKIPPY RESULTS ===--- Run Frame nFrames stars muErr muRms nuErr nuRms rot az el --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---=== LTMATCH RESULTS ===--- Run Field nFields alt az nGood rowMean rowSig colMean colSig rot ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---=== SPECTROSCOPY DATA SUMMARY ===--- Summary Checked (y/n): y QA Procedures Done (y/n): n UT Exp Time flavor comment (S/N)^2 totals ========================================== b1 r1 b2 r2 00:18 46397 10.0 flat 00:21 46398 2.0 arc ----- sequence 46399, plate -9999 ------- 00:32 46399 0.0 bias 00:41 46400 0.0 bias ----- sequence 46401, plate 2621 ------- 02:24 46401 10.0 flat 02:27 46402 2.0 arc 02:45 46403 900.0 target 03:03 46404 900.0 target 03:21 46405 901.0 target 03:25 46406 10.0 flat 03:27 46407 2.0 arc 03:46 46408 900.0 target 04:04 46409 901.0 target 04:22 46410 901.0 target 04:40 46411 901.0 target 04:45 46412 10.0 flat 04:47 46413 2.0 arc ----- sequence 46414, plate 2308 ------- 05:07 46414 10.0 flat 05:09 46415 2.0 arc 05:28 46416 901.0 target 05:46 46417 901.0 target 06:04 46418 900.0 target 06:22 46419 900.0 target 06:25 46420 10.0 flat 06:28 46421 2.0 arc ----- sequence 46422, plate 2805 ------- 10:52 46422 10.0 flat 10:55 46423 2.0 arc 11:15 46424 901.0 target 11:33 46425 901.0 target 11:36 46426 10.0 flat 11:39 46427 2.0 arc ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE I ===--- Time Instrument Az Alt Rot Scale pos offset pos offset pos offset ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:35Z 7 2621 98.86 -0.0068 53.87 -0.0033 255.46 0.0000 1.000500 03:32Z 7 2621 93.29 -0.0095 65.83 -0.0010 258.01 0.0132 1.000500 05:18Z 5 2308 -16.64 -0.0114 62.68 -0.0041 165.92 0.0008 1.000370 11:00Z 2 2805 -2.77 -0.0135 63.76 -0.0034 177.71 0.0497 1.000150 ---=== TELESCOPE OFFSETS AND SCALE II ===--- ---=== FOCUS LOG ===--- setmir piston Temp Wind Time Inst scale M1 M2 Foc Az Alt (C) MPH Dir filt fwhm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 02:35Z 7 2621 1.00050 -4938 -3028 -110 99 53.9 12.4 10 91 ---- 1.5" 03:32Z 7 2621 1.00050 -4938 -3058 -110 93 65.8 12.2 16 122 ---- 1.6" 05:18Z 5 2308 1.00037 -3651 -2068 -190 -17 62.7 12.6 17 135 ---- 1.5" 11:00Z 2 2805 1.00015 -1481 -272 -190 -3 63.8 11.0 20 124 ---- 2.6" ---=== WEATHER LOG ===--- Wind Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust DIMM Sky 01:05Z 58 27 0 137 (SE) 271 - Mostly clear 01:43Z 55 40 8 98 (E) 707 - Mostly clear 02:13Z 54 42 9 105 (ESE) 688 - Mostly clear 02:43Z 54 44 12 90 (E) 621 - Mostly clear 03:15Z 53 45 9 99 (E) 612 - Clear 03:45Z 54 42 21 126 (SE) 575 - Clear 04:17Z 54 45 20 126 (SE) 670 - Partly cloudy 04:48Z 54 43 19 124 (SE) 645 - Partly cloudy 05:18Z 54 42 17 134 (SE) 709 - Mostly cloudy 05:50Z 54 41 21 125 (SE) 589 - Mostly cloudy 06:22Z 54 41 19 127 (SE) 747 - Clouds 06:52Z 53 42 24 125 (SE) 709 - Clouds 07:25Z 53 40 24 125 (SE) 824 - Clouds 07:57Z 53 38 21 127 (SE) 898 - Clouds 08:29Z 53 39 26 132 (SE) 789 - Clouds 09:01Z 53 39 23 130 (SE) 779 - Clouds 09:34Z 53 38 24 130 (SE) 750 - Clouds 10:06Z 53 38 23 137 (SE) 772 - Clouds 10:39Z 51 42 19 134 (SE) 843 - Mostly cloudy 11:11Z 52 42 21 136 (SE) 789 - Mostly cloudy 11:43Z 51 45 23 146 (SE) 795 - Clouds ---=== TELESCOPE STATUS ===--- 00:30Z - Began ventilation.
