We observed Marvels plates. Observations of Marvel-post plates are very smooth. Observed ## 3032, 3030, 3033, 3031. Guider did not work with B-field of dual Marvels-pre plates. We did not have a chance to check how SOS carry about current map files. The data from last and previous nights have been reduced. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- All telescope systems are checked. Spectro collimation, position of fibers and wavelength have been checked and found acceptable for now. Very fine tuning can be done during cloudy night. Spectro is focused for 9C. We did not do imager bias as Connie was working with it. Rebooted Guider Mac as it does not rewrite the exposures (This problems is very common now). Mirror numbers are good after several repetitions of sets. To do the spectro check we mounted cart 4 plate 3137 segue, which was partially observed last month. We had the same problem with spectro reduction as yesterday. SOS could not reduce the data as it could not find map-plate-file. Connie and Kaike helped. We have found that today's map files did not copied to right directory for SOS. They copied this files to right directory manually. We forced to run sos_redo and the data has been reduced in a while. Wd still do not know while map file did not copied from sdsshost2 to sos as expected. To check if it is ok for MarvelsPre plates, we mounted cart 2 plate 3019 and loaded A(0)-field. We did calibration, but SOS did not reduce the files. Copied map files from sdsshost2, forced the reduction, sos complained about not founding some files but still reduced the exposure. We reviewed the similar situation which was happened last night. In contrary, the map files were found on right place, but possible were copied there late after SOS attempting for reduction was completed. I reduced all files using sos_redo and we see some results on SOS page. After gotoField and minor manual adjustment we could see 6 guider stars. Unfortunately, guider could do only one exposure at once and stopped. We tried to restart Guider and Monitor several times. We loaded field A and guider worked right, there was no any errors when we loaded field A. We guess that the problem with B-field guiding is related with error of the loading the cartridge. We could not observe B-fields of this plate tonight and concentrated on regular Marvels plate as for the other plugged Marvels-Pre plates we need to observe B-fields also and A-fields were done before. 05:04Z Cart 5 plate 3030, regular Marvels.
