This afternoon, I, Howard was able to do some DIMM troubleshooting and discovered that its CCD cooling fan was unhappy again. In fact, I had to nudge the fan after power-up to get it to turn, and I could hear a vibration after it got up to speed. This is the fan that I installed last month after the previous fan problems. Nevertheless, I replaced the fan again. The install was done without removing the CCD camera from the telescope, so the DIMM is ready for operations. Please feel free to contact me if necessary.
