Got one exposure on plate 2076 before moonset. Spent the rest of the night imaging strip 19 S from end to end in a 900+ frame run 5194. Seeing good enough to switch to imaging. 02:40Z instChange to imaging 02:56Z Run 5194 19S -64 03:04Z offset in frame 15 (clearing spectro offsets), lambda -67 Ramp start frame 23 , lambda -66.5 Science start frame 39, lambda -64 Sub-arcsecond seeing on several chips Most of the run has been right around -8 arcseconds nu error (since we have been near the meridian nu is mostly altitude). It should be noted that it was about +6 before clearing the spectro offsets, so apparently at least some of the ~10 arcsecond altitude offset we've been seeing observing plates is also valid in imaging indicating it is a pointing issue not an instrument block issue (kind of hard to explain a consistent altitude offset any other way actually). 5194 frame 276 r4 (14) Second magnitude star gamma Leo (Algieba) blasts its way down dewar 4. 07:10Z Seeing excursion over the line starting frame 426, lambda -6, goes to frame 434 before returning below the line. Unfortunately the excursion was large enough for seeingRun to declare a section of bad between 420, -7.0 and 459, -1.2. Seeing settles back down, more variable than earlier but seeingRun still considers it good. 09:25Z OK, Algieba was bright, but Arcturus is even brighter! It sizzled its way down dewar 2 starting with frame 645 in r. 11:42Z Frame 882, lambda 62 (end of survey area, start of ramp). 11:55Z Frame 908, lambda 66 twilight. 12:01Z EndDrift Frame 916, lambda 67.3 12:25Z Enclosure Closed, Fans Off. When issuing scanstop and seestop at the end of the night a warning of "no more processes" comes up.
