Legacy: Imaged 17 S from lambda -65 to lambda -30 under photometric skies and good seeing. 119 frames. But about 40 frames were under bad seeing. So this run might not be useful. plate 2280: done Problems: -- Watcher complained about nQuartileL (CCD 22) and nQuartileR on a few CCD chips and archiving on a few nodes. -- APO weather webpag gave a error message(about DIMM data): Telescope time differs significantly from laptop time! -- plate could not be declared done (tb in the problems section). See problem section for details. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout: ------------------- spectrograps checked only with calibration lamps - flat & arc are ok. imager tested with the bias on the telescope. No problems so far. Night: ------ 00:42Z run 5822 bias on the telescope. Supernova ---------- 01:20Z Run 5823: strip 82 N. We started slightly late (twilight ended at 01:32Z). Skippy was happy since the begining. Ramp started at frame 21, lambda 117. Science starts at frame 34, lambda 119. From seeing measurement by"schedule seeingRun", data was good since very begining. Science ended at frame 809, lambda -125, ramp ended at frame 823, lambda -123. photometric and excellent seeing (13 chips had subarcsecond) at the begining. Seeing started to climb from 1.0" at frame 100, and reached 1.4" at frame 150. then varied between 1.1" to 1.5". Legacy -------- 09:35Z Run 5824: strip 17 S. We started this run 14 min earlier than science plan suggested time. Ramp started at frame 32, lambda -65. science started at frame 32, lambda -63. skippy and focus were good since the begining. endDrift at frame 119, lambda -49. due to bad seeing. Then we decided to switch to spectroscopy. Photometric skies, seeing was about 1.3" at the begining. But went to bad at frame 75. Spectroscopy ------------- 11:20Z cart 6, plate 2280. stars on goto field. Seeing was good ~1.4". plugMap files was not on sdsshost or sdsshost2 and needed to be copied from plate-mapper. Three 15 min exposures. The last one was in twilight.
