We never opened. All shake tasks and tests were completed except for imager testing on the sky. We *think* we successfully declared iop v4_18_0a current but see the main log section for details. We closed 1 DA PR and reassigned 3 others. (These 3 tested successfully but were only an intermediate step in the solution of the problem.) The heater is on in the lower enclosure due to high humidity (84%) in the enclosure. The spectro 180 l dewar is still having trouble holding pressure. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon checkout: ------------------- No problems to report. Night: ------ Totally overcast at sunset. The building is open and ventilating but due to approaching radar returns we stop ventilation and close the building around 01:45Z. Wind speed went over the limit around 02:32Z with a speed of 38.9 mph but was back down near 30 mph within 30 minutes. Around 04:40Z we opened the pressure building valve on the spectro dewar for about 5 minutes and built the pressure from about 14 psi back up to 24 psi. The pressure had been gradually dropping since the spectro fill about an hour earlier. The wind continued to hover around the closure limit with occasional gusts above 35 mph (05:45Z, 07:04Z). Humidity went over the limit around 06:30Z and then continued to rise well beyond that. Around 09:30Z there was a dust spike of about 14000 counts that dropped rapidly back to a few 100 counts. A similar dust event occurred around 10:35Z. These were probably just fog banks rolling by. Wind, "dust" (fog), high humidity and clouds persisted for the remainder of the evening. While waiting for the weather, we dealt with the 4 DA PRs: 6632 - successfully tested; reassigned to RHL as a watcher PR for completion. 6845 - successfully tested; closed. 6846 - successfully tested; reassigned to Kurt Biery for completion. 6888 - successfully tested; reassigned to Kurt Biery for completion. Note that GNATS would not allow Elena to edit PRs. She could view them but the edit option was not available to her on the GNATS page. We also declared iop v4_18_0a current. However, we got the following error when doing the declaration: 5:00 sdsshost2.apo.nmsu.edu % ups declare -c -f Linux+2.4 iop v4_18_0a ERROR: No instance matches were made between the chain file (/linuxp/db/iop/current.chain) and the version file (v4_12_0.version) ERROR: Possible UPS database (/linuxp/db) corruption in product 'iop'. Bottom line: we think the new iop was successfully declared current but we aren't 100% certain. We undeclared v4_18_0a as test iop as well. The white board was updated for iop, DA and a few other out of date items. endNight rejoiced from Elena's account. When shutting down the telescope for the night, the enclosure humidity was at 84% so we turned on the heater downstairs. A spectro fill was forced. The 180 l spectro dewar is still having trouble holding pressure.
