We tried to do some imaging but the seeing was declared bad so we switched to spectroscopy. Then some thin clouds rolled in for the rest of the night as well as the moon so all but 2 of the exposures (2 different plates) were declared bad. We had a problem running "apoplot" in IDL (problems sections) so we weren't able to do the complete QA procedure on our 2 good exposures. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The 90 degree alt fiducial did not read in either direction. Spectro QA Problem --------------------------------------------------------------------- While trying to do QA on the first plate "apoplot" won't work in IDL. We tried exiting IDL and starting over but the results are the same. "apo_plotbias" and "apoplotsky" worked without problems. A new IDL was declared current today.
