We finished two regular plates 2793 (cart 5) and 2538 (cart 8). We have got useful signal on two other plates 2744 (cart 3) and 2564 (cart 2). We also observed special plate 2449 (cart 9) for Jum's shake task. This plate is DONE. We ask to keep this plate is mounted until shakeup to complete the shake task. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: --------- All systems checked and working. No adjustments were made to the spectro focus. Used cart 8 today because it was sprinkling when I went to change to cart 2. Collimate suggests that the focus is set for ~12.5C (using cart 2 over the last few nights and these same mechPiston positions collimate suggests that the focus was set for ~14C). Night: ----- We had clouds and virga nearby, had some delay to open. Opened 03:50Z. Cart 3 plate 2744, chunk. FSonGTF 4:15Z preCalibs 4:22Z Science 900, 4:40Z Science 1500 5:09Z Science 1500, paused for one min because clouds. We observed 10 min behind if plate expiration time already and could not make plate done. SOS requested the postcal but it was too late. s/n=11.6. Cart 5, plate 2793, chunk FSonGTF 5:50Z We started preCalib and got an error that "flat is too faint" and images of fibers were shifted away from center on SAoImage display.
