We also completed one observing seqguence on the cluster plate, 3334. Notice that the field is only about 20 to 10 degree adway from the Moon during the observation. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: --------- All systems were checked, and working properly. the spectro focus was adjust for ~ 3C. 00:20Z started ventilation. Night: ------ 01:25Z mounted cart 2, plate 3334 (bright plate of Be 29 cluster(. 01:50Z goto fields. The dust count was about 2.6 K. When Steph tried to put PID values into MCP, she found that ones could not get semaphore. Robert is aware thism and will fix the problem tomorrow. FK5 used for the field. 02:15Z Everything is ready, we are wait for twilight to end. DIMM report seeing is about 1.0", SDSS guider report 1.7". The guider show a efficiency of 0. because mag. of guiding stars are all zeros. We took 5X2.5 min exposures on tagets and 6 sky exposures (offsets by +/- 0.24 to 0.26 degrees from the field). SoS complained about sky level, failed to report S/N on these exposures. The field is about 20 to 10 away from the Moon. visual checks show that bright objects have about 3200 counts, very similar number with 30 min exposures for regualr SEGUE-2 plates. We were planning to take one more exposure with 4 min integration time, but the field is only about 8 degrees from the Moon when the procedure is done. So we decide not to take more exposures on this plate. 04:10Z Cart 3, plate 3321. SOGTF. We obtained six 30-min exposures on this plate.
