Watcher servers and iop's got problem working with it, so the MCP computer was hard rebooted. Cart 9 plate 3519 B: guider disabled and enabled fibers in the reversed order. A corresponding ticked has been filed yesterday. Same happened to cart 4 plate 3513 B (Side A is OK at the same time). We noticed that even if DIMM shows a very good seeing, ~ 0.7", the guider focus plot never shows the FWHM better than 1.5-1.4". ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon Checkout: ------------------- The imager watcher server failed to start up properly, and hung trying to communicate with the MCP. This had additional fallout of hanging our iop session (used for monitoring fiducial crossings and logTool among other things) and delayed afternoon checkout. There was also an unresponsive test version of MCPMenu running at the laptop at the telescope. We reverted to the NOSVN version we have been running to resolve these issues, including doin a hub startNubs to get STUI to communicate with MCP. When opening, the telescope refused to move down from 30 degrees altitude. There was a wind_alt_fault in the interlocks that seemed to be the root of the problem. The telescope slewed up okay, and after the upward slew went down to 6 degrees without any problems. This is just a guess, but we could have had a confused interlocks state. Spectrograph focus checked, but no changes made.
