The weather did not improve enough to open. The high wind blew away most of the snow. With the expected sunshine during the day, I am sure we will be gathering many photons tomorrow night. A new MCP v5_8_7 was used to set fiducials and then I used TCC to move the telescope a bit. It seems to work fine in this limited test. I did NOT declare the new version current. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Around 00:30 or so, I switchMCP to v5_8_7 and moved the telescope inside the enclosure. I used MCP to set fiducials, and then did few moves from TCC. I did not move in AZ via TCC because of a spare dewar inside the enclosure which would have hit the doghouse if I moved in AZ. (I asked Pete before he left to put a spare dewar inside the enclosure when it started to snow.) The telescope moved fine, and I did not see any "too large to correct" fiducial errors either. The only watcher error regarding MCP that came up while I was down at the scope that I don't see too often are: Extra GPS pulse? NIST sec = 999786 (Extra GPS pulse?
