We opened for one hour before twilight and finished cartridge 4 plate 1342. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The afternoon check went smoothly. No problems. M1 lateral E mig was close enough to the allowed deviation from nominal that I decided to relax the primary. That put it back to the nominal value. This afternoon the spectrographs were not refocused. Below are the mean offset values from collimate. Rain, lightening, dust, clouds, more rain, more clouds... 09:15Z We are finally under clear sky and open. Cartridge 4 Plate 1342 --------------------- stars on gotoField. The seeing is good (1.4"). We got good S/N and finished this plate easily with 2x900s exposure + last night's exposure. But since we had time, we took a bonus 900s exposure.
