All worked fine. We didn't declare iop v3_129_0 current since there are a few changes which should be checked in. Also we've done snow removal. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Afternoon check completed successfully using test version of iop and new TCC. Spectrographs needed a bit of focus reverting back from yesterday's warmer temperature. Changed sp1 by -2200, and sp2 by -4000. See problem section for details. Three inches of snow fell between 1 PM and 4 PM, making dewar changes more challenging than usual. Night: ------ Because of fresh snow we did not open tonight, but we've tested inside enclosure: 1) startupGui: > source /usrdevel/sjk/co/iop/etc/sop/startupGui.tcl done postCalibs buton changes it's color like advised (after instChange command is completed). There is no smear button anymore. 2) Procedures: checked yesterday (everything is there). 3) DIMM: powered down. We've done it, but we need instructions about how to use DIMM remote to get the telescope to the required HA=0, DEC=0. Besides, when the DIMM is at that position, the power off button is difficult to access. Is there any reason we have to move the DIMM from Polaris at all? -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4) Imager Bias & Flat: Bias: done on run 4486, frames 29. checkBias - there was no error message at all, while w run it. Mosaics: u6, g3, t6 - hot collumns, l6- left part of the chip is high (but we know that). All bias and flat frames were copied to phoenix (and compressed) in: /data/photo/cmr/cmr/53064. Imager was put away (tbar laches switched to maitenance position). Cart 6 mounted. We didn't declare iop v3_129_0 current, since there are still some changes to be checked in. 5) tcc: we just took a guider exposure.
