The fk5 was at the edge of the fiber. DIMM is up and running again. Thank you Steph for coming in today to put in Craig's personal spare computer. The DIMM data is successfully displayed on the WWW page. Unfortunately, the wind at the beginning of the night (gust in the upper 20 m/h)is making the measurements not very reliable. DIMM reported often above 2"seeing while we are getting 1.2"seeing with spectro guider images. We also saw many ERROR message related to the time (both computer and telescope time). On b2i, the dead column 1312 showed up well in the preCalib flat 26927. Cart 3 Plate 1677 ======================= Guide stars on gotoField. Still good seeing (1.1"). SoS complained: sdR-r1-00026935.fit: WARNING: Max sky-residual chi2 = 77.0469 at 8921.42 Ang (ignoring 5577) Looking at apoplot=sky for r1 for exposure 26935 and 26934 (which did not get any warnings) , we cannot see any significant changes to account for why 26935 got the above warning. We finished this plate in 3 exposures and go to imaging. We did instChange (time between instChange and scanStripe) in 18 min. :) Run 4649 22S ================== Frame 9 Lambda=-3.1 skippy is happy Frame 18 Lambda=-1.5 in-focus Frame 32 ccd 33 nice nice galaxy. Frame 34 ccd 53 the same galaxy in g. NIIIICE. 05:58Z Imager does a fill causing the weight to go to 66.4lb. We will change the dewar at the end of the night. Frame 146 ccd 14 We see a part of M3 (the globular cluster not Dan's car). 09:10Z We got "poolNRGangTrim" errors on all photo crates. poolNRGangTrim (29: 2004-05-23 09:09:22Z) We do not know what triggered the above error. The error returned right after they were cleared. The murmurlog showed that the gangs transfer were being carried out for both photo and astro gangs. 10:00Z A tiny cloud appeared on the cloud camera (not where we were pointing) less than 1 deg before the start of the ramp down. Frame 450 Lambda=63.1 start of ramp down. Frame 474 end of the run. DIMM stopped reporting the seeing around 09:40Z or so. We did not find this out until 10:20Z or so when we were starting to get ready to close.
