Tonight is a supernovae imaging program night, but since a spectrograph cartridge was mounted and focus errors were reported last night, the focus was checked and centered. See end of log for details. Active thunderclouds approaching from the north (lightning reported within 8 miles at 16:00 MDT dictated that the imager remain in the doghouse this shift. Server restart problem: ----------------------- 08:30Z ptvme error on id1 seemed to kill the servers Servers would not come back. They would stall sourcing scd.tcl Hitting ctrl-c until it gave up sourcing that one allowed it to finish and bring up the servers (SP server didn't stall on scd.tcl but IM did - same ctrl-c fix got it going). It isn't clear if the ctrl-c did anything bad to the servers but they seem to be talking to the instruments and the watcher. Murmur log showing the following error associated with the master server. IOP 205922 TEXTONLY invalid command name "statusEntryInfo" This seems to indicate maybe ctrl-c caused something beyond scd.tcl to be interrupted.
