Night: ------ 02:40Z We had clouds as twilight ended, so we waited. 03:50Z We opened under rather cloudy conditions. 04:10Z Cart 01, plate 1972 (chunk100). Guide stars on goToField, but efficiency was very low due to cloud cover. Got one usable exposure during the five hours we tracked this star field. We discovered that the NLAMPS problem with the arcs could be avoided if one does a preCal with an arc only and then followed by another preCal with a flat only. 09:11Z Cart 07, plate 1674 (chunk85). Because of clouds, an Fk5 star was needed to find the field. This plate was declared done in three exposures.
