Problems: --------- seeingRun showed a strange error - see the log. We have a complete mess of iop versions. Which one is "current" current, current or test. Which are we suppose to use? Can we have the mainline of stoftware strighten and stop producing new side iop versions (see Craig email about the problem it causes to watcher)? We run today an iop v4_7_0a not working (Eric remined us that it was not working on the last shake). we went back to iop v4_6_1a which did work but it's not a current neither the last version of iop, but we found a piece of paper at landru to run that version (probably left by a mistake). the current iop is v4_6_0b the test iop v4_7_0 Please, we need an order here ;). ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- Met with Wendell, Steve, Bob and French (by phone) to discuss the spectro dewar situation. It was agreed that the observers will make sure the dewars are filled when they come on duty in the afternoon (Mike) and before they go off duty in the morning (Jurek and Howard). To verify that the dewars are full, they will be filled in the manual mode until the observers see LN2 running out of the system. There were lots of little bumps during setup and checkout (and bigger bumps setting up the PT) but we managed to get through them. A postCal was done to check the spectro collimation. Two of the xsigma/wsigma values were in the red, 4 were in the yellow, 2 were in the black. Last night during spectro monthly checkout, they were all in the black. This difference is almost certainly due to temperature. There was no time to do a collimation adjustment tonight (and since it's a supernova night, there was not a pressing need) so it will have to wait for another night. Night: ------ SN night.
