After about 8:30Z clouds surrounded us but almost never went above 20 degrees elevation, a nice inversion of the "only cloud in NM being overhead" scenario. What this added up to was the perfect spectroscopy night. We finished all nine plates! True, a couple had signal already but hey, it's still nine plates! Found 9mm hex wrench on top of Cartridge 7 when switched out at the start of the night. Where did it come from? Viktor's browser (both Landru and laptop) wouldn't let him declare plates done. See problems section. There was a celebratory rotator abort at the end of the night. Not sure if it was celebrating finishing 9 plates or Mardi Gras. Not wanting to leave the telescope empty and out of balance we left cartridge nine on the telescope.
