Integrated dust count was low (~13500). ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- No problems during checkout. 02:54Z Plate 8024 (cartridge 8): ET. An FK5 was needed to acquire the field due to the bright sky. After applying a large scale correction (0.036) the guide stars vanished. A gotoField did not find the guide stars even though the offsets had been made sticky prior to the scale change. An FK5 was needed to find the field again. Guide fiber 4 needs to be cleaned. One 50 minute exposure was obtained. While observing Plate 8024, I helped Jian and Roger check all their plates for fibers that had slipped or dropped below the plate surface. As a result, I was unable to make focus and scale corrections during this time and so the last half of the plate 8024 observation was done with less than optimal focus and scale settings. 04:15Z Plate 8025 (cartridge 9): ET. Guide stars on the gotoField. One 40 minute exposure was obtained. 05:14Z Plate 8026 (cartridge 4): ET. Guide stars on the gotoField. No guide star in fiber 11 so it was disabled. One 50 minute exposure was obtained. We switched to cartridge 6 and then did calibrations at the instrument change position. 06:29Z Plate 8021 (cartridge 6): ET. Needed an FK5 (and had to do a little fishing for it) to find the field. One 50 minute exposure was obtained. 07:41Z Plate 8022 (cartridge 7): ET. Had to do a spiral pattern to find the FK5. One 50 minute exposure was obtained. 08:58Z Plate 8028 (cartridge 3): ET. Guide stars on the gotoField. One 50 minute exposure was obtained. 10:03Z Plate 8029 (cartridge 1): ET. Guide stars on the gotoField. One 50 minute exposure was obtained.
