Did new pointing model (error circle ~2") and implemented it. All shakedown items done. Problems: --------- still a problem with spectrograph 2 door sensor - it shows status "closed" while it's open, sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. "segue cluster" is it a special plate? what should be s/n on that one? Actualy later we found information about 2377 in one of an old email saying something about s/n requirements for that plate. But it would be very usefull if we could just click on a plate # in the data base to see what s/n should be for such and such plate. BTW plate 2377 was DONE in January 22-nd 2006 (Brian's email says it). Spectro focus checked and adjusted to 11C possible night temperature. Imager bias is taken by Mamoru Doi because he was working with imager at that time. We rebooted MCP with new fiducial table v1_53. 1:30 EngCam is mounted. We cannot do observations, ventilations and any other useful things. Looks like the new fiducials are lying to us. Steph moved back to the old rot fiducial table. At the moment we have only alt fiducial new table the rest is from the previous dark run. Mcp was rebooted. We checked the rot positions after that and... it was again 1 degree off. So Dan forced fiducials and finaly it was rotating, where it was commanded. Definately the old rot fiducail table was bad. 07:23Z Finaly we opend the telescope and first thing we started with was the optical axis position check, which seems to be fine. Star images outside of focus look good. Seeing is 1.1". Then we took a pointing model. The erros are ~2". New model was implemented and checked with a short pointing afterwards. All looks good. 10:15Z cart 3 plt 2377 mounted. GSOGTF. The plate is called "segue cluster", but is it a special plate? what should be the s/n on that one? Clouds, the Moon is killing our s/n.
