The west door of the 2.5-meter enclosure is unhappy. Sunday night it would not close; and last night, it would not open. And, its motor sounds very loud. For the last two nights, Watcher has reported problems with the imager's vs+ (CCD 55) and vt+ (CCD 15) voltages. I'm guessing this condition is cold-weather related. We forced filled the spectros in manual mode at 12:15Z before going to bed. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- Afternoon: ---------- The 90 degree alt fiducial did not read in either direction. The 45 degree alt fiducial did not read going up. Spectro collimation was not adjusted. Details are in the Problems section. The west roll up door would not open this afternoon. French was notified. He disengaged the motor and rolled the door up a few inches with the chain. He then engaged the motor and the door functioned properly although the motor didn't sound too good. The monitor for the outdoor camera that watches the telescope has gone bad. We previously thought there was a problem with the camera itself but Viktor discovered it was the monitor when he brought up the image on his browser and it looked fine. All of the exposures were declared bad; however, we will let David S. decided. 03:55Z Cart 06, plate 2639 (boaTest157). Guide stars found on goToField. Completed two bad exposures. David S. should have a look at the data. 04:50Z Cart 04, plate 2425 (chunk135). This cart was mounted. However, humidity became a problem, and we had to close. 07:32Z We had more clouds and very low temp (-11C). 12:30Z We went home. Misc.
