We did spectrosopy due to lacking imaging targets for this month. We finished three plate: 2597, 2654, and 2745, and got signals on two segue faint plates: 2569 and 2192 (lowest s/N^2 is 41.4). Problems: 1)The red light on circulation panel in SW side of lower enclosure kept flashing when fans on. 2)at about 4:50Z, guider refused to start, a reconnection sop to tcc fix the problem although startDa -tcc returned that a connection already exist(see log). 3) endNight did not finish; see log. ---=== OBSERVING LOG ===--- afternoon: ---------- During the afternoon checkout, we found the red light on circulation panel are flashing and bepping. Pressed the acknowledge button stop the bepping, but the red light is still flashing. The spectrograph focus checked but no adjustment made. Night: ------ 02:45Z cart 2, plt 2569 (segue faint). FK5 used for the field. 03:10Z started the first 1200s exposure. 3 exposures with a total integration time of 4200s. Get S/N^2: 30.6, 16.7, 38.3, 28.9 on b1, r1, b2, and r2 respectively. 04:38Z cart 4, plt 2597 (chunk). GSOGTF. After preCalib exposure, Howard tried to start guider, the issued commands showed up in SOP murmur log and in sop window, but the guider refused to work. Then Jon came in, he suggested to do a gcam doread 1 in tcc window, it did the job. So it appears the connection problem between sop session and tcc. Jon suggested to issue a connection command again. startDa -tcc returned a connection already exist. However, at almost same time, guider started to work. 10 min was billed to the problem. The plate was declared DONE with three exposure of a total integration time: 3300s. 06:18Z cart 5, plt 2654 (chunk). GSOGTF. The plate was DONE with three 900s exposures. 07:20Z cart 3, plt 2745 (chunk). GSOGTF. The plate was DONE with three exposure with a total time of 3500s. 08:50Z cart 7, plt 2192 (segue faint). GSOGTF. Got four 1500s exposure. the lowest S/N^2 was 41.4. 11:10Z wait for PT morning twilight flats. 12:20Z Finished the PT morning twilights. 12:25Z endNight did not finish, i.e., it could not find the cloud camera images. endNight also asked me (twice) for a password; it's never done that before. Someone needs to check the problem with endNight and send the cloud camera image through the pipeline.
